Random Ramblings

ramblingsHave you ever lost your train of thought? Just been mid-sentence and suddenly, nope, no more thought? It happens to me….a lot.

Mike and I were talking about this today. We were speculating about what happens to those lost thoughts. Do they end up in the same mythical place as lost socks? Or do they float around in our realm like that lone shoe on the highway (I’ve traveled many highways and I swear it was the same shoe everywhere I went).

What if, and this is a scary thought (especially for someone who loses as many thoughts in a day as I do), what if after a certain amount of time all your lost thoughts come back to you? All at once and you just start spouting these random thoughts until they are all gone from your mind. What if that old guy at the mall who mutters to himself is just some poor soul who found all his lost thoughts?

I am so toast.

I-am-toast

  1. Definitely happens to me. I think one day we could be bombarded by those thoughts. Uggh.

I’m tired just at the “thought” of this! Hahahahahahah! I’m toast, too…that’s why a long weekend is in order! Woohoo! XOXO-Kasey

That’s awesome. Insanity = lost thoughts spewing out. I wonder how important those lost thoughts really are. I lose them constantly and sometimes wonder if something brilliant just flew away. Doubtful 😉 probably something more like “I need to trim baby boys toenails”

If they’re brilliant thoughts I hope they come back to you and end up in your writing. I’d love to read them one day. Trimming baby boy’s toenails is an important thought too though. 😉

  5. This made me laugh out loud! Brilliantly written 🙂
