Sunday Funnies

Today is Remembrance Day (Veterans Day in the states) so I will forgo the usual silliness, although some veterans will tell you they fought so we could remain silly. God bless them all.

When I was in elementary school we would read this poem every Remembrance Day. Lt. Col. John McCrae was a surgeon in the Canadian military during WWI. He died of pneumonia on January 28, 1918 in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.
