NOT Wednesday, August 29, 2012

I am on vacation this week!! Ok, it’s more of a staycation, but none-the-less, I’m doing abnormal things. Things like visiting with friends I haven’t seen in a long time; going for walks in the woods; cleaning & sorting the Madhouse (I told you I was doing abnormal things; I’ve been told stranger things have happened, but I have my doubts).

That being said, I’m taking today off!! Ok, I’ll be honest, I got distracted today and didn’t get around to writing this post until quarter after ten tonight and frankly, I’m too tired to think and do research.

Instead I’m going to share with you this image a friend posted on my Facebook wall (ahhh, Crackbook, you do have purpose). I’m seriously considering printing off multiple copies, cutting them into cards, carrying them with me and randomly giving them away. What do you think?

please note – I have no idea where these originated. If you do, please let me know so I can credit the appropriate person(s). Thanks.

I think it sounds like a great idea! Who wouldn’t appreciate it? I’d put one in the bathroom and one by say the mirror you look at before leaving the house. “you don’t have to do it all” – “you are perfect the way you are” would probably be my choice by the door, lol I’d be the one who still looks crazy to the kids pausing for a moment every morning looking like I’ve forgotten something but really be taking a deep breathe and de-stressing before starting the day. 🙂

Thanks! I used to have my bathroom mirror covered in inspirational thoughts, but they came down when I redecorated. May have to do that again.
As for when the kids head out the door I usually tell them, “I love you. Now go away.” It’s a good thing they share my whacky sense of humour! 😀

  3. I would totally do this, Holly. Spreading inspiration and love in random places only brings goodness to people’s hearts. XOXO-SWM

Thanks. As soon as I get the printer working properly I’m going to print off a couple of sheets and see how it goes. I promise I’ll write about it.
