See You Soon

Ok, I was all set to write a couple of posts that would publish themselves this weekend (I just discovered this feature on WordPress after a year of blogging…I’m so embarrassed). I was set up in my comfy spot on the couch, reclined and ready to compose prose that would make the angels weep when I glanced at the clock – 7:25pm. It dawned on me that I had a meeting at my church at 7:00pm tonight. Huh. Fortunately my church friends are very forgiving.

Needless to say, the posts did not make the transition from thought to page (technically computer screen, but page sounds so much more creative & intellectual – and we all know how intellectual the Madhouse is). So I sit here, at 10:53pm, composing this short note to apologize for lack of aforementioned posts. This will be it for a few days. My big brother is getting married this weekend and I am going to be very busy celebrating with my family so will be unable to post.

However, I may just have some great stories to share next week. Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

…family isn’t defined by blood, but rather by love. Sometimes, if we’re really blessed, it’s both.
