It’s Word Wednesday!! It looks like today’s entry is going to be short and sweet. I chose the term “bonkers” for today’s word.

Bonkers as defined by Merriam-Webster:

:crazymad <fans went bonkers when their team won>

And from Online Etymology Dictionary:

“crazy,” 1957, British slang, perhaps from earlier naval slang meaning “slightly drunk” (1948), from the notion of a thump (“bonk“) on the head.

There you have it friends! I guess I appear “slightly drunk” as though I’ve been “bonked” on the head. (Actually I have been bonked on the head on numerous occasions…maybe that’s it! Maybe I don’t have mental health problems at all! It’s all from being bonked on the head too many times. I feel so much better now.)

  1. I’ve been going bonkers with putting/having too much on my plate! Someone hit me over the head, pleeeeeeease!

  2. Holly says:

LOL, I understand your dilemma, Kasey. Just remember, breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. In the infamous words of Mr. Miyagi “Breathing very important.” 😉
